I must say this is very exciting, I have a lot to talk about. Though it may take me a few blogs to figure out where my best interest lies. I want to first talk about things that stir me.
Since this is my first blog and it is one day before my 60th birthday (yes that is right I have been around sixty years and I am just getting around to a blog π – is that so last years thing?) I want to say this saying really gets me – ‘oh that’s due to old age’.
Really!! Really people say, and even worse, believe this saying. Do you know what century we are in? We have the internet we can search and read about any subject and we do. There are usually pages and pages of articles, research and other peoples opinions and we always find information that we resonate with and believe.
But you know when I search for information about aging I don’t find very much information that I believe. That is because I don’t believe your body has to get old and decrypted. I say you don’t sit because you are old, you are old because you sit. Speaking of which I have to get up now, be back soon.
Yes we do get one year older in age each year but I don’t believe our bodies have to age that fast. I would even go as far to say I don’t believe we even have to have any aches or pains (due to aging) at any point in our life. WOW that is bold isn’t it and I know a large percentage of you are zoning out, calling me crazy, saying “oh she just has good genes”, that will never happen for me, it is too late for no aches and pains in my life, what planet is she living on, and oh yes all the nasty glares – I got them all.
Back to the internet I found maybe one promising site that talks about what you can do to combat the aging process. It was published by the Mayo Clinic and they have the right idea on letting you know what to do but I feel they set the stage incorrect.

I think they should say ‘Here’s what to do each year – and this is what to expect when you don’t.’ I am making a stand and saying everyone should do the steps it takes to keep your body healthy and young!! It’s an order and if you don’t do them this is what you can expect – premature aging of your body.
It is not to late for anyone to have a youthful young body for their age. The main thing you have to do is exercise, I know I know everyone says that and hardly no one does it. It’s not as bad as you think and I will make my next post about how easy it is.
Think of me as your grandmother saying to you when you were young “This is your only body God gave you for this lifetime, take care of it like it was Gods.”
